Don’t look now, but the latest version of “the People’s President”, Donald J. Trump, maybe the last great United States’ president.  Not since Ronald Reagan has a president with no Ivy League education, who was loved by the voters and intensely loathed by the Elites, both in the Democrat and in his own Republican Party, and the National News Media Complex, not only has made the people of the nation feel really, really good about itself but has accomplished so much that is good for the nation, domestically and internationally, economically and socially.

It has been three years since Mr. Trump came out of a pack of 17 mostly established and Establishment Republican candidates, one of whom was named Bush, with the bold mantra/promise of “Make America Great Again!” and then crushed the preordained Democrat President candidate-elect Hillary Clinton in an Electoral landslide – Clinton 232, Trump 306.  Very few can say that he has not delivered on his promise, and then some.

YOU WOULD THINK THAT WE’D BE CELEBRATING:

Maybe in an earlier generation the nation would be celebrating when an Administration after 8 years that, as reported by Heritage.org, “an American economy experienced the slowest recovery in 70 years. In addition to persistently high unemployment, labor force participation has fallen sharply since the recession began in December 2007. When 6.9 million fewer Americans are working or looking for work.”  Blacks and minorities wallets shriveled up under the repeated failed Progressive Keynesian economic theory of Mr. Obama, The Financial Times reported that “The median non-white family today has a net worth of just $18,100 — almost a fifth lower than it was when Mr. Obama took office. White median wealth, on the other hand, has inched up by 1 percent to $142,000. In 2009, white households were seven times richer than their black counterparts. That gap is now eightfold. Both in relative and absolute terms, blacks are doing worse under Mr. Obama.“, and a June 2015 Townhall.com article reported, “In 2009, black unemployment was 12.7 percent, and by 2014, it had fallen to 10.1 percent. This sounds like good news until one examines the black labor force participation rate — the percentage of blacks working or seeking work. It’s the lowest since these numbers have been recorded.”, You would think that the Media would be blasting celebratory accolades seeing these troubling issues reversed in a big way.  Instead the Establishment Media has been like the 3 Mice – silent, blind, and deaf.

One would think that there would be nothing but praise for the Administration who came along to create  more than 5 million jobs, where there are 6.7 million job openings and just 6.4 million available workers to fill them, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics – “something the American economy has never experienced before”, according to June 2018 CNBC.com.  Initial weekly jobless claims hitting near 50-year lows and having the unemployment rate for black Americans and Hispanic-Americans unemployment rates reaching record lows and crushing their poverty rates to historic lows, respectfully. And since the most recent election, 4.6 million Americans have been lifted off of food stamps and real median household incomes have rose to post-recession highs. You would think that these reports would all be occasions for us to be dancing in the preverbal streets as a nation.

But unfortunately, this is not the generation of our grandfathers nor fathers.  And more unfortunately, it is a guy like Donald Trump, as the U.S President, who has brought all of these gifts to the American people.  And even more unfortunate, in an era of historic partisan balkanization and gross political illiteracy, he is a Republican.  He was not bred nor groomed to become a politician.  He grew up actually working and building his wealth on the streets of New York.

The fact that he is a relative commoner from the streets of New York, he may not have the communication skills of Reagan, he may offend someone’s sensitive ears.  And for someone who is used to the usual way political decorum is expressed you may need a defibrillator nearby, but his results can only be said to be remarkable and stunning. And he has placed the United States and America back on top of the world scene with unapologetic strength, rather than leading from behind, as had been the case for the previous 8 yrs.  And some could make a case that Trump has placed America on the world scene with muscle, boldness, and strength like no one since Reagan.

THE PRESIDENCY WON’T EVER BE THE SAME:

The election of Donald Trump by the citizenry voters of the U.S was literally like the red-headed stepchild getting Willed the cherish heirlooms and property of the dying heiress. Unlike General Dwight D. Eisenhower following World War 2, he was not drafted or invited into the Club of the Elite political power players.  Trump was chosen by the citizens of the United States, with all of his flaws and imperfections, to represent them because he was not a member of the Club. He is not only not welcomed by the opposition party of the Democrats, but begrudgingly so by the Republican Party that he chose to represent.  Despite his miraculous success, particularly in the economic area, in less than 3 years in office and garnering a whopping 90+ percent approval rating by Republican voters he still is a man on an island taking arrows from literally all sides mainly due to the fact that the Establishment Elites of the District of Columbia does not like the precedence that Trump’s presence and success represents.  They want to let it known that regardless of Trump’s success not everyone can take the daily, monthly, and yearly assault, that not just Trump himself has had to endure, but his family and anyone associated with him, that anyone who may even be thinking of following his footsteps, as a Republican, in particular, should look to be treated no differently.

Arguably in no time in our nation’s history has the opposition Party openly sought to literally cripple the Presidential Administration of the winning Party after the election in a no holds barred all-out public assault that included the Establishment News Media Complex as willing accomplices neglecting to report accurately or fairly on the President’s successes.  They not only have the Democrats, with control of the House of Representative, openly attacked Mr. Trump personally with false 2+ year Mueller Investigation, that at the end of the day uncovered no crimes against Trump, but wrecked the lives of many of those close to him. But they now seek to directly attack the Office of the Presidency and debase the tool of Impeachment that has not been used but 3 times in the history of the nation strictly for political reasons.  Can you imagine the stink storm that would have erupted if this such of thing had been even hinted at the Republicans, who controlled both houses of Congress, attacking Obama and his Administration for being a socialist/communist and a sympathizer for the enemy of the nation?

Once Trump leaves office, after his second term, two precedences would have been forever set.  One, that a commoner with determination, fortitude, cunningness, flair, and the U.S and American people behind him can come forth to be the President of the United States.  And more concerning, the opposition Party can openly ignore the Will of the people after a fair election, with the assistance of the National NewsMedia Complex, and issue an opened ended act of war to not only degrade and politically cripple the person who is the President of the United States and his Administration, but the very institution of the Office of the President itself if necessary.
