Sir Churchill must be turning in his grave to witness the literal surrendering of the principles and culture of Christianity by the same countries that where once fierce stewards of the faith and whose very foundation and existence was once proclaimed, that of Europe and America, to the most extreme and radical tenets of Islam.
Radical foreign religious terrorism have reached the shores of America and Canada unimaginable some 10 or 20 yrs ago. But if one were to only listen to the American Establishment News Media you would not know of any reason to be alarmed. We have home-grown Americans so disenchanted, disillusioned, and who have out-right hatred for their own country, and all that it stands for, that they personally seek the destruction of it, as it was founded. Many even go to the point of traveling thousands of miles to join groups who are in open war with America, and Western culture, such as ISIS – the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
This fall the Canadian Parliament building was attacked and had 2 of it soldiers mowed down by a radical Islamist. In September an Islamist convert beheaded and stabbed former co-workers in Oklahoma. Courts around the nation are being pressured to accept Sharia Law. Just last week Australia got a wake-up call when a radical Islamist held hostage a coffee shop and 13 customers. And what may be even more disturbing is that American youths and youths from the West are rushing to join the fight with ISIS against the American and Western forces in the Middle East.

Jesus21Just as radical Islam is on the rise in America, and in West as a whole, Christendom is under assault, from within our borders. During the traditional time of the year that Christianity is traditionally celebrated, signs of its celebration is being muffled and removed from public sight. The marginalization and minimization of Christendom has become common place in today’s America as the acceptance of religious secularism becomes en vogue.

But you can not have the degradation of Christendom without Americanism becoming under siege as well. Internationally and domestically the fundamental ideals of America is being turned on its head and inside out. From the outset of the reign of Barack Obama where he went around the world apologizing for Americas dominance he set the tune for aggressive America-Bashing and Anti-Americanism. And this has been like red meat for anyone has hence before kept their hatred for Americanism and Christendom in silence. They now feel emboldened and that they have the blessings of the President and are part of the “new norm”.pic_giant_021413_A
If you are a citizen of the West and you hear more and more that it is your religion, Christianity, that is the cause of all that is wrong with the world, with no genuine rebuttal because to do so would offend those who are making the claims, you may want to reject everything about that religion. If you were an American and you were being constantly bombarded with the messages it is America that is the source of all that is wrong with the world, from the President, your teachers, celebrities, to the Media, with no genuine rebuttal because to do so may be viewed as offensive to those making the accusations, you may want to make your mark on the world and do what you could to be on the side of the “good guys”.
The battle against radical Islam is a battle over ideology and theology – just as it has been since the days of the Crusades or when President Jefferson dispatch the Marines to squash radical Islam. The difference today is that the leaders of once Christian-dominated nations have become morally bankrupt and have lost their integrity to rightfully defend traditional Christian principles for which their nation has been grounded for centuries. These leaders have institutionalized and become the enablers and promoters of the ailment that may destroy their nations and Western civilization. The growth of radical Islam and lure that it presents those young Westerners in search for a purpose in life or to atone for the wrongs of the world, is the public degrading and execution of Christendom. But none of this would be possible without the complete moral extermination of the one nation that used the Ten Commandments and Biblical principles as the blue print for its founding documents and development of their nation to become the most dominant and prosperous nation on the planet– the united states of America.
For radical Islam to win, we in America and Europe have to reject and unilaterally surrender who and what we truly are and what has given us our prosperity and our miraculous high quality of life. And it is up to each of to once again become fierce stewards and defend with boldness our principles of Christendom and Americanism in the open arena of ideals for all to see and honestly and unapologetically compare the fruits of Christianity and American and Western culture to any other religion, and culture, particularly Islam. And then be willing to defend what you know to be true. Not all Muslims are radical terrorist, but it is self-evident these days that the majority radical terrorist espouse the Muslim faith. The more that you love and appreciate the good of your country, the less likely you are to seek or aid in its demise.  Truth will always triumph.

Americanism Is At Risk Of Becoming An Extinct Concept To The Next Generation Of Americans

Late former President Ronald Reagan prophetically said that, Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” My only fear is that we may have already reached that point, if not passed it.  We have created too many orphans to the very concept of freedom – of Americanism.

To me Americanism includes first, the love of God, love and respect of father and mother, love and respect of American culture and history, and last, but not less, love and respect of America’s founding principles – the Constitution for the united states of America and the Declaration of Independence, and with the innate drive to be independent and self-governing.  But one must have the knowledge of their existence for any of the principles and concepts to have any relevance. The common thread that binds all of these concepts is a high degree of moral standards, via Biblical philosophy and principles.

Ever since the Supreme Court’s mis-application of Jefferson’s “separation of church and state” reference the federal government, particularly those of the liberal/progressive political persuasion, have been hell-bent on abolishing any presence of Christianity and God from public view to the point that many Americans view themselves as not only being not Christian, but of no particular religious foundation at all.  The popular acceptance of secular religions and intuitively counter Christian philosophies to include even that of Islam is running rampant throughout our society, aided by the federal government, at the expense of our nation’s traditional religious beliefs and philosophies. 

The explosion of single-parent households coupled with the politically redefining of marriage to include pairings of same-sexed persons have rattled the once solid foundation of the nuclear family, that of one man and one woman, to it’s core.  And has disturbed and confused the building and structuring pillars that once raised a child to adulthood to clearly know and understand right from wrong actions, and to have a clear sense of the hierarchical nature of a civil society, rather than a society of few absolutes, less defined roles of behavior, absent defined boundaries, and a gross detached sense of personal responsibility with little or no fear of consequences. The self-evident negative consequences that actions such as having a child as a single parent and raising as child in a homosexual household is having on our society has been a generation or more children growing up without true guidance or structure from home as in past generations, grossly deficient in critical social skills, and eternally lacking moral and ethical integrity amongst not only our youth, but our society as a whole.

And as for the results of a grossly politically and civically detached American populous, it can not be described as anything but tragic!  A September 2011 USA Today article reported on some findings from an Annenberg Public Policy Center survey that should make anyone who loves this great nation serious concern:

  • Just 38% of the poll’s respondents can name all three branches of the U.S. government (executive, legislative and judicial) One-third are unable to correctly name any of the branches.
  • 15% correctly say John Roberts is chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, but almost twice as many respondents (27%) correctly named Randy Jackson as a judge on TV’s American Idol.
  • A majority of people (55%) incorrectly believe the Constitution was signed in 1776. That’s the year the Declaration of Independence was signed. The Constitution was signed Sept. 17, 1787.

As former Justice Sandra O’Connor said, “If we don’t know what makes this country special and worth saving, how will we know how to safeguard its promise of freedom and opportunity.”

It is my belief that when someone speaks of changing a person or a nation fundamentally they can only be talking of changing him or it from its core. Changing his or it’s belief structure. Changing his or its culture. And changing his or its self perception.  Tearing him or it down in order rebuild it in an different manner.  America from its inception has always been stubbornly masculine in personality, a independent-minded cultured nation, and grounded in and guided by Judeo-Christian principles.  But more importantly, a politically engaged and educated people were always to be the most critical component for the nation’s survival as a free nation.  Remember what Ben Franklin said after the first Constitutional Convention, we have a republic, IF WE CAN KEEP IT.  But with the slow incremental introduction of collectivism, more and more personal responsibility being transferred to the government, and just the abandonment of the fundamental principles and beliefs that has made this nation the envy of the world for over 200 years, we find ourselves now with the federal government in control of nearly 10% of the nation’s economy and able to micro-manage the lives of nearly every U. S and American citizen with the enactment of the Affordable Care Act, i.e., Obamacare, and more Americans dependent on the U.S government for their very survival. Coupled with a frightful number of Americans lacking any knowledge or understanding of this nation’s founding principles, heritage, or the reason that makes this nation truly exceptional holds even more worrisome prospect for the nation’s future as one of a free-minded people.  A CNN July 4th, 2013 article reported that, “A shocking 85% of Americans cannot correctly describe the “rule of law,” as bedrock a principle as we have. A similar percentage cannot identify the Constitution as the “supreme law of the land.” How can one defend something that they know nothing about or falsely indentify?

History tells us that you can not have freedom absent a high degree of morality and personal responsibility. And whether one chooses to admit it, the Christian Bible has been the cornerstone of America’s miraculous success.  If one were to place Biblical principles next to the Constitution one would clearly recognize the connection between the two.  The question I have to ask, if our Christian principles and fundamental values are to be removed from our society, what would we have to replace it with that would benefit us as much? What other’s nation’s successful principles would we adapt?

The importance of Christendom to our nation’s existence can not be questioned, but by one unlearned in our history. Congress in 1854 rejected a petition to separate Christian principles from government. Congress resolved, “Had the people during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle. It is the next generation of American’s  relationship to freedom and morality and the nation’s traditional Biblical principles and history that has served this nation well that is of extreme concern.  Without the bounds of principles that has guided their forefathers and this nation to the prosperity that they have become too accustomed the future does appear to be problematic if this nation is to remain in any resemblance to what we were given.

The next time that you see one of those segments on TV where random citizens are asked the most basic of questions such as, What year was the nation’s Declaration of Independence was signed? and they express their blatant ignorance, or when you witness youths express no interest in American traditional religious values or history, or when you see a woman who has 10 plus children, with no financial means, and no job skills, unremorsefully speaks of how others, i.e., you and I, the government, should help pay for her and her children needs, to the degree that it makes you cringe intensely, just remember what G.W, [George Washington] said in 1796,“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. . . . And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle”.

And as Mr. Reagan prophetically said, If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth” The choice is ours.

Is America Prepared to Fight Radical Islamist Chained by Political Correctness and the U.S Administration’s Extreme Aversion to Denounce It?

In the wake of the terrorist attack of the Boston Marathon, and the subsequent capture of one of the supposed perpetrators, the questions regarding the U.S Administration in this matter are; 1) Why does Mr. Obama appears to have a more expressed passion and vigor in going after law-abiding American gun owners than going after radical Islamist in this nation? 2) After the apprehension of the suspect, unlike G.W Bush after the 911 bombing mentioning how the terrorist are now our [the nation’s] enemies, Mr. O curiously remarked about the people of Boston, “one of the things that makes Boston such a great city, is that we welcome people from all around the world — people of every faith, every ethnicity, from every corner of the globe. So as we continue to learn more about why and how this tragedy happened, let’s make sure that we sustain that spirit.” Why he never mentioned the word terrorist, Islamic radical, or anything referring to how we as Americans will fight and defend against any terrorist – foreign or domestic?  Does the intellectually vacant drive of “political correctness” preclude us from being able to identify our enemy – if they’re not Caucasian males, politically conservative, or unapologetically American? And 3) With the Administration’s unabashed desire to allow untold numbers of unidentified foreign trespassers to enter America through its southern borders, even after September 9th, 2011, can the American people afford to blindly trust the U.S government to protect us?

I remember during the G.W Bush Administration’s early push to erase America’s southern borders by allowing untold numbers of Mexicans to cross into the country as though they were crossing the street that the F.B.I reported it wasn’t just Mexicans crossing the street unidentified, but members of foreign terrorist groups as well. This was reported in 2004. Then in 2010 Fox News reported that some fed agencies issued a Terror Alert along the Mexican border warning of possible terrorist groups coming into the country. Yet, very little has been honestly done to remedy the situation. In fact with the Administration’s blatant acts of appeasement and disinterest in dismantling the yellow brick road for foreigners to disobey our nation’s immigration laws and securing the nations borders, the issue of foreign terrorist living amongst us only grows.

But what is even more concerning is Mr. O’s severe psychological discomfort saying anything or acting visibly in any way against anything Muslim or Islamic. And it is obvious that he has more then a passing appreciation for the religion. Let’s remember that both of his fathers were reported to be of the Islamic faith. But due to his public denials of his favor towards the religion it causes a more than apparent disconnection with his, and therefore the federal government’s, actions regarding such displeasing acts of the radical core of Islamic followers verses someone who’s of a more fundamentally Christian faith or position. His fervent refusal to call the attack of a self-proclaim follower of Islam on the Fort Hood Military Base an act of radical Islamic terrorism, but instead call it “workplace violence”. This false classification caused military persons wounded during the attack to not get needed benefits. Even in the aftermath of the attack on the U.S Consulate in Libya the Administration, and the complicit Media, dared to call it a terrorist attack carried out by a radical Islamic group. Instead he, his Administration, and the Media chose to divert the public’s focus to a benign You Tube video. He chose to even carry this blatant untruth onto the world stage at the United Nations.

The fact is that the Administration and the Media of the United States government seem to be quite deflated in the fact that the culprits were not Caucasian, male, conservative, or boastfully proclaiming love for America. To the point that I look for this matter to get the full treatment of blaming any and everything short of these guys being born sideways for their treacherous acts and again diverting our attention from the real threat of Radical Islam.

America is becoming a pool of mind-numbing illogical political correctness to the point that not only is there less identifiable societal absolutes, but less identifiable enemies and friends. A neighbor and acquaintance or the young suspected bomber during an actual interview by ABC News admitted recognizing the suspect but did not call the authorities for fear of somehow wrongly accusing him based on his religion and ethnicity. What if his son, daughter, or friend were one of the victims killed or maimed by this suspect and brother? Why has it become so accepted in America that it is okay for our neighbor and fellow American to lose his liberty, his freedom, or even his life, so long as it doesn’t inconvenience me or that I’m not directly affected negatively?  The psychological self-correcting trigger of political correctness paralyzes us from making the most basic of choices and judgments of right and wrong in an era of growing attacks on American culture, traditions, and way of life from not just abroad, but even more concerning from within our borders from fellow Americans who honestly are of good intentions.  Years of mis-education via the government educational system, the Establishment Media, and entertainment complex has numbed our senses to what use to call us to arms.

There use to be a time in America that any threat to our nation, our way of life, or our fundamental truths, especially by a foreign source would have been faced with resounding condemnation by the people. And no Media outlet would dare to show the source of such threat any sort of favorable light or sanctuary. Today the fact that the suspects where of a Radical Islamic sec, that they may have killed many fellow Americans who were partaking in the liberties and freedoms that this nation holds above all others, or that this may be the shot across the bow of things to come due to the U.S government’s misguided and treasonous immigration policies, is all far less of importance than how these two young men may be misunderstood, or that they may have been called a name growing up, or their religion and ethnicity may be unduly stigmatized, or even how they may have been mistreated by the police seeking to arrest them.

Too many in today’s America find more comfort in being popular and wrong in a crowd then being right and standing alone. We fear hearing the hard truths that that may reveal our imperfections and prefer the easy lie that gives us a warm fuzzy feeling. And too many of us prefer the silk chains of government privilege and promised security and reject the harsh responsibility of being free.

If Americanism is to ever be reduced to the back pages of history and remember whens, viewed again as extremism, or totally removed from existence from these lands, it will not be due to any foreign terrorist group or army; not from any form of radical religious belief or doctrine; or even a government running of its chains. It will be due to the American people totally rejecting and surrendering what has made us exceptional for some 200 plus years – our Constitutionally protected rights and liberties, and our traditional culture and way of life. As Abe Lincoln prophetically stated, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” The choice is ours.

The Progressive Liberal Assault on America’s Youth: Will The Next Generation of Americans Even Know the Meaning of Americanism

Proverbs 22:6 says prophetically,Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” It is often said that the children are our future and that the youths of America today will be the flag bearers of tomorrow. But as I look around at many of America’s youth I fear for the America of tomorrow. Its not so much their fault, but due to what they are being taught, or better yet what they are not being taught about this great nation – particularly in the federal government’s, i.e., public, school system. What impressions are they developing from their experiences via the government school training, I mean education system? From when they are placed in the care of government schooling, from pre-k to high school, and beyond, what picture are they developing of Americanism?

It’s not a day that seemingly goes past without a news report of some bizarre instance or occurrence dealing with a child in a government school institution that has nothing to do with the teachings of the 3-Rs, self governance, how to think critically and independently, their relationship with government, or American history and the Founding principles. But, there are stories such as, a 2nd grader being suspended for having a toaster pastry shaped like a gun, colleges having sex week, kids being suspended for shouting U-S-A at a basketball game, a kid being suspended for fighting back against a bully, and kids no longer being giving grades of A-F or not being allowed to have achievement awards for fear of offending those non-achievers. All of these policies, no matter the guise from which they operate or are called, whether they’re called political correctness, zero tolerance, or protect the child from the boogie man, they trains and conditions the young minds to be everything that Americanism was never to be.

Such seemingly benign policies teaches young fertile  minds that guns are bad, i.e., to be anti- 2nd Amendment; that they should look for government to teach them about sex or related issues, such as homo-sexuality and teen pregnancy, not their parents; that it’s not acceptable to be overtly proud of America or being American; that they shouldn’t look first to defend themselves, but the government; that collectivism, and the individual’s sacrifice for the good of the group is expected.; and to thrive for excellence is not to be rewarded, unless you are a athlete or entertainer of course.

These are just a minuet sampling of the subliminal mind-numbing anti-Americanism  conditioning that is quietly  flowing through the government school system mostly unabated, and thus into our society. I think that a good argument can be made that today’s average youngster knows more about sex, homo-sexual relationships, the threat posed by individuals owning guns, how good government is, the “facts” of “global warming”, and how evil wealthy people are, then what the First 10 Amendments to the Constitution are or their purpose, what’s the difference between a republic and a democracy, how to locate the United States of America on a map, or whats the difference between a profit loss and a profit margin. The average young American not having any conceptual understanding on what makes America exceptional or our basic history is so common-place that it’s a perpetual joke on late nite shows, even some cable news programs.

What today’s average American youngster’s exhibits as grotesques ignorance of the most basic of principles, history, and understanding of the nation is a most severe indictment of the federal government’s operation and governance of  America’s education system. Which should make it clear why the Founders never intended for the federal government to be in charge of the education of the American people.

The systematic and incremental dumbing down of the American society is not a Democratic or Republican issue. But it is the product of progressive liberalism unchecked by the silent majority of the conservative counter view.

Many prolific people knew far too well the great importance of education in the molding of a society and its relation to freedom; the father of Marxism, Karl Marx said, “The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother’s care, shall be in state institutions at state expense.”; John Adams said, “Children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom.”; and Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

In today’s contorted presentment of constructive thought, the question is often asked, what makes America so great and exceptional? To me the answer is more to what is it that makes America not great and exceptional. It’s not so much based on what we have become due to the dumbing down of our intellectual currency, but what our nation’s founding principles are still as they lay dormant waiting for their resurrection by the people who were entrusted with their covenant. Americanism is based on individualism, self-governance, civic literacy, and above all the recognition of Creator-endowed rights. But as the saying goes, the greatest danger of not knowing something is not knowing that you don’t know it.

The woeful ignorance is not necessarily the fault of today’s young people, but the institutions of the so-called educational system that supposed to teach, not indoctrinate, a culture that rewards the ignorant and non-achievers while punishing and belittling the intellectual pursuers and achievers, and a cultural reformation that seeks to replace Americanism and traditional values with collectivism and secularism. The trivial has become relevant, lies have become truths, and the immoral has become moral. The question is, will the American people recognize that we have a critical problem soon enough to save any resemblance or remembrance of what America once stood for? And can we as Americans retrain and recondition ourselves to once again cherish what is exceptional about this once great Republic to hand it down to our posterity? It is after all up to us.
