In a Financial Time’s article “A new global gender divide is emerging”, sought to report on how “Young men’s and young women’s world views are pulling apart.” It starts off by mentioning how in the past the genders generally moved in the same direction culturally when it came to important matters of politics and general ideology. We shared similar or the same experiences of life that shaped each of us to similar degrees. But the thirty-somethings have gone off the rails into different directions. Here are some illustrations from the article:
Beware Of The Shiny Ball
Politically speaking, in generations of the past they were generally equally divided between liberal and conservative. But now, particularly, the young women have not just started to lean Left, but have apparently fallen Left by at least 30 points. Though the article is looking at how the phenomena are occurring not just in America, but in the West, and the world – even Communist China, I just want to focus on America. It points to the #MeToo Movement being the triggering point and how the 2022 Presidential Elections, of course, they only want to look at this event as a single and unattached occurrence.
While the corporate media wants to focus as much of our attention on one occurrence here, another occurrence there, an occurrence there, and yet another occurrence way over there, and not seemingly daring to ask, if this has not shown itself to have occurred at any other time, in no other generation, WHY are all of these cultural bombs going off now?
What is the Modern Day Woman’s Role?
Let us not focus on the ever expanding gulf between the genders, but lets us pull back our view so that we can see the landscape better and can see more of it – and in a better context. Lets look at other cultural explosions that have happened in America over the past 60 years. Lets look at the Women’s Liberation Movement that put forth the notion that the woman’s place was not in the home taking care of her husband and children. It placed in the heads of the women that to take on traditional roles, even if she truly wanted and enjoyed that role, even if she could, and did work outside of the home, to desire to be a “housewife” was akin to suffrage. To even dare to mention that you as a woman wanted to fill the traditional role of wife and mother became culturally taboo. Not only did this moment drive a wedge between the husband and wife, and alter the expectations and the inner workings and relationship of the husband and wife, but it also left the child at home alone while the woman was more distracted by work and life outside of the home. I want to make clear that I am not disparaging any woman who doesn’t want to be a traditional wife and wants to figuratively burn her bra, but the choice of being a traditional wife and homemaker and child-raiser should not be ridiculed nor disparaged.
With the ever expanding path of more women working outside of the home and in many cases putting off marriage until later in their lives, if at all, and becoming more financially independent, this has led to even more decoupling from the influence of the man, or seeing him as the undisputed head of the home, not to mention in a relationship they she may find herself in with a man. It should go without saying that there are some men who just are not qualified to be in relationships, just as there are some women who are not qualified to be in a relationship – for whatever reason. But, I do believe the Creator created each of us with the intention to be mated with our opposite gender.
Lets Us Redefine Divine Gender Roles & Purpose
This expansion of financial independence has led to the woman blurring the growth in her purse to why she no longer needs that man for financial support and therefore believing that is the reason for the male’s traditional position in relationships and marriage. From this, there is a belief that men, in general, should surrender the notion of their traditional role and position in the male and female relationship, and that is time for female-male “equality”. Forget about the eons and eons of historical data on how successful patriarchal societies and cultures have thrived. The extreme-feminist and Progressive Liberals want to show how the traditional male has become antiquated and, as they [the extreme-feminist and Progressive Liberals] have become masters, they want to redefine not only how the genders joined to procreate – redefine marriage – but they want to redefine what masculinity is, and the actions of a man should be. They want to redefine the actions of men in our father’s and grandfather’s time as “toxic masculinity” or outdated. So based on the female financial rise, and everything that comes with that, higher levels of higher education graduates and higher paying employment, many women believe that they should no longer be looked upon to do the roles of the women of the past – the whole having to know how to cook and clean, raise the child, be feminine be subservient to the man in a relationship thing. And they are conditioning the male to soften and to, in truth, become more feminine, to not be prone to be so violent/aggressive – leaving them, the woman, to take more of the masculine role. Many women have convinced themselves that men and women are equal, just as many have convinced themselves that a man can actually become a woman.
Whatever One Sows, That Will He Also Reap
The consequences of the Progressive Left and extreme feminist gender movement have brought to mind several Bible verses – Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” And Genesis 5:2, “Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.” And Genesis 1:28, “God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it…” Most men like being men and everything that the Creator designed men to be, the good and not-so-good. We just wish that more women wanted to fulfill their Divine role. An October 2024 Pew Poll revealed, “About half of men (51%), compared with 37% of women, say men are doing worse today in finding a romantic partner.” An April 2024 CDC Report reported the U.S. fertility rate has crashed to historic levels. If the woman no longer feels the need or desire to have babies or can no longer personally and intimately gel with the male by giving him a feminine partner in a relationship there is going to be only one outcome – fewer babies are going to be born and when a male looks for his mate from the pool of the modern-day woman, with her masculinized mindset, he will ask more and more what is it that she brings to the table that I cannot do for myself?. Since it is ultimately the man who chooses his mate, that becomes problematic to start a family. And in the end, this leads to a weakened society, a decimated family foundation, and a nation full of men without, or with less, knowledge of how to act as a man, i.e. to defend himself, their woman, or their family. Couple all of this with the repercussion of the Left’s fixation on the mass killing of babies in the womb – Kaiser Family Foundation reported, “The most recent data estimates that more than one million abortions (1,056,150) occurred in the U.S. in 2023.” So, men and women are getting together less to have babies and the woman is slaughtering their babies in the womb.
It’s All About Government Expansion
This divide has less to do with the shared political view amongst the genders, if the genders lean Conservative or Liberal, but their shared worldview – how do they see right and wrong. As women begin to reject Divine tenets of family and gender relations and want to remove the man’s traditional role as the governing figure in a relationship, in the home, in their life, and in their culture as the protector and financial provider, something will have to take his place. The evidence shows that the woman’s rush to liberalism and bigger government, they have chosen government as the surrogate male in their lives.
