The Great Stealth Depression Continues: Is It Time For A Return To Normalcy…Again?

After the economically devastating policies of Democrat Progressive President Woodrow Wilson the American people welcomely ushered in Republican Conservative Warren Harding, and then Calvin Coolidge, that brought about “the Roaring Twenties”.  Harding and Coolidge both saw that it was not the government that was the engine of America’s prosperity, but a motivated and inspired American people and private industry.  They greatly reduced taxes across the board and government regulations on businesses.

The one thing that can be said of history is that though we may not like what it tells us, but it’s always going to tell the truth.obama smug

Fast forward to today when we bear witness to a president of the United States stating that his focus for his second term will be on income inequality, i.e., more taking from those based on their ability to give to those based on their need.  He also has boastfully stated that if the elected representatives of the people of the United States don’t go along with his vision of transforming legislatively the nation, he’ll just create laws by pen-Executive Orders.  Really?!

What has been totally absent from any of Mr. Obama’s economic policies since his ascension into the seat of the presidency is a focus on true policies that would actually create a roaring economy that awakens the dormant energies of the American private sector and ignite the people’s innate drive to succeed independent of government handouts.

As he makes announcements to further depress the nation economically and increase government dependency, reports come out that the nation only created approximately 74,000 jobs…for the whole year of 2013!.  This is the lowest in 3 yrs. In November The Blaze.com reported the labor participation rate was at the lowest since 1978, at less than 63%.  It reported that, “The U-6 unemployment rate, considered a broader measure of actual unemployment in the U.S., increased to 13.8 percent, up from 13.6 percent.”  Yet, Mr. O continues on with his crusade of fundamentally transforming this nation into his utopian vision unabashed, and publicly unchallenged either by the Elite Media or the National Republican Party Elites.

Not only is Mr. O seemingly unphased regarding the serious crisis that the nation is in economically, but the Media is eerily quiet on the motivations of Obama and the tragic consequences that lie ahead for the nation due to his policies. So Obama continues his purposeful obfuscation of the true economic crisis that currently befalls the nation, for today and the foreseeable future.  More importantly, the Establishment Media refuses to report on the connection between the crippled state of the economy and Mr. Obama’s regurgitated economic policies that have not ever produced a robust or dominant economy in the history of not just our country, but the world.  After some 50 years and over 20 Trillion of U.S Taxpayer Dollars in the so-called War on Poverty it has shown to have been an utter, though very predictable, failure, as reported by the Heritage Foundation

Even though poll after poll since before his anointment shows that the economy and jobs are the most important issues for Americans, Mr. O persists in diverting energy and attention to issues that can only add to the nation’s suffering, such as giving preferential treatment and status to illegal immigrants, increasing regulations on businesses, increasing taxes on citizens, and generally expanding the government into areas for which it was not created to enter.  But for him to do otherwise would be too much like right for the nation.

The evidence of the tragic effects of his stealth depression is apparent, yet goes mostly unspoken:

·         Youth unemployment is at 16.3 percent — one of the highest levels since World War II

·          U.S. enduring the longest period of high unemployment since the Great Depression

·         The number of able-bodied adults on food stamps nearly doubled under Obama’s policies.

·         13 million more Americans receive Food Stamps than prior to Obama.

·         Under the reign on the U.S’s first true African-American President the labor participation for Black Americans has sunk 0.3 percentage points to 60.2 percent -the lowest rate since December of 1977. How’s that for gratitude, eh?.

·         The United States has dropped to #12 in the 2014 Worlds Ranking of Economic Freedom, Hong Kong and Singapore tops the list.  Let that marinate on your minds for a second.  So much for the land of the FREE.

And the biggest tax increase in the history of the nation,Obamacare, hasn’t been fully implemented. This isn’t gonna be good folks!.

So, the next time you hear a politician or anyone talk about our “economic recovery” , ask where is the foundation for this recovery?  How can you have an economic recovery when we have a record number of citizens unemployed, under-employed,  and unemployable?  How can there be an economic recovery when the family unit and morality is in disarray?  And how can you have an economic recovery when the government is taking so much of the economy’s wealth and resources, and restricts so much its citizens freedoms?  As my mom used to say, “there’s something in the milk that just ain’t clean.”

History has shown us that America’s exceptionalism is best exhibited when the people are less burdened by the weight of government. Evidence the economic booms under Lincoln, Harding/Coolidge, Kennedy, & Reagan.  So too the history of the world tells us that a government-dominated economy never spawns  prosperity for its people.  Evidence the fact the though America is younger and smaller than Europe and Asia, we have out produced them economically, have created and inspired more millionaires, and have grown to be the destination of more citizens of the world then all of them combined.  Not to mention we have defeated them on the battle field .  And as for the issue of the government making people “equal”, U.S Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas may have said it best when he said, “Government cannot make us equal; it can only recognize, respect, and protect us as equal before the law.” The proper role of government has always been known as stated by President Lincoln, “[the government] is to do for the community of people [you and I], whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves-in their separate, and individual capacities.  In all that the people can individually do as well for themselves, government ought not to interfere.

Free-minded individuals who are able to exercise their Creator-endowed rights, without infringing on that of another, is the greatest blue print for economic prosperity.  We have 200 plus years of evidence.  It’s sad to think that if this economic devastation was done under a Conservative Republican the Media would be broadcasting daily reports of Americans suffering and the erection of a shabby towns in his name.  But, instead under this Administration we get deafening silence and complicitness regarding his actions.  The question isn’t so much if it is time to return to normalcy, but with so  many of us not knowing the truth of the nation’s critical situation and confused, disillusioned, and have become comfortable with the chains of government promised security, if the people have wearily grown to accept this as our new norm?

Does So Many Women Head Of Household Signal Final End To America’s Masculine Identity?

I read a recent report of a Pew Research Study about the unprecedented growth of households headed by women. It reported the nearly 40% of homes with minors has a woman as the primary breadwinner. It was  just 10% in 1960. Today over 60% of the women households are single parented. Some troubling characteristics of the findings are: 74% says as for a working mom it is harder to raise a child; a female single parent has a median income of just $23,000 – compared to those women with husbands earned approximately $80,000; 46% ages 30 and younger never married, of that number 40% are black and 24% Hispanic; and 49% having a high school education or less have a median income of just $17,400 – the lowest among all families with children.

I can still remember the political dust-up over the TV character Murphy Brown and U.S Vice President Dan Quayle had over the character having a child out-of-wedlock during the George Bush Senior’s Administration. Time has flown by with a quickening certainly. But is this a further example of the feminization of the American culture and identity? This so-called phenomenon didn’t just happen of the sudden. Liberalism seldom comes through the front door. The movement to deemphasize men and masculinity under the guise of “equality” in American culture has been creeping through the crevasses of the nation’s society since “the Women Liberation Movement”.

But I believe that there is a galactic silent conversion from America being a masculine culture to a feminine culture. Even Fox News has picked up on it in its report “The War On Men”. The report refers to the fact that there has been a concerted effort to push men of their “pedestal”. There has been an orchestrated antagonistic relationship developed due to the notion that being mothers and home developers and nurtures are no longer relevant or important duties and responsibilities. That in fact such traditional duties are demeaning and tantamount to servitude. Being a man, and the supposed benefits that come with being a man, is now much more appealing and too beneficial of a status. Men were to become the eternal enemy to most women/ feminist. And if you weren’t a woman who openly share these anti-men views, you were look upon as a traitor to the cause.

So now today we have dysfunctional gender relations due to the fact that natural and cultural instincts and fundamental expectations have been turned upside down and backwards. We have men who have no expectations of being the breadwinner or having a job and don’t know how to be bold or masculine, and women who have no expectations of knowing how to cook a wholesome meal or know how to be gentle or nurturing. And therefore they no longer have any expectations of finding those once assumed qualities and characteristics in each other, causing further alienation and indifference. Just look at the high American divorce rate and the exploding rate that more men and women seeing no benefit in marriage or unionizing.

But this break down in gender relations have more profound implications for our nation’s cultural identity and it’s salvation as a world dominant nation I believe. Lets first look at the differences between femininity and masculinity.  Feminine is closely related to goodness. Whereas masculine relates to strength. To be feminine is to be more nurturing. Whereas to be masculine is to be more aggressive. To be feminine is to be more emotionally attuned. While to be masculine is to view things in a more cold calculating manner. To be feminine is be more passive and willing to compromise just to keep the peace. Whereas to be masculine is to be more assertive and rigidly self-determined, even at the risk of being wrong. But, what I believe maybe a more telling general characteristic is that the masculine-dominant will seek to defend and protect himself first, while the feminine-dominant will look first consider the needs of others. In other words the feminine-dominant are more willing to give up their freedoms and liberties for the benefit of others, while the masculine-dominant favors personal security above all else. While it is good for a nation to have a healthy feminine-masculine ratio, America has been exceptionally successful due to its determined masculine-dominant identity.

When you look at the effects of the feminization of the nation’s culture has had it is nothing more astoundingly devastating. From everything from the near total removal of men from the teachers ranks, less than 9%, the removal of the man from the home, due to political correctness and efforts throughout the government educational system to emphasis self-esteem development over academic development, as evident by the abolishment of grades of A’s and B’s, eliminating Honor Roll acknowledgments for fear of injuring self-esteem, punishing the youngest amongst us for opposing homosexuality at school, and even removing male or masculine references from the Bible. Even the most passive observer can tell that today’s America is extremely more sensitive and softer than our grand parent’s. There’s even a car commercial attempting to demonstrate its safety features by surrounding a kid in bubble wrap as an analogy to protecting the child from getting hurt from falls. Geez!

America used to be a place where kids were expected to suffer falls, missteps, and failures, as an education of what life will be when they become adults. America used to be the place where you didn’t have to like or agree with what someone said, but would defend their right to say it. America used to the land were classrooms and universities were places for learning the three R’s and the sciences and ideas to be openly challenged. Children used to be challenged to think logically and comprehensively. Parents instilled in my generation, and those prior, self-reliance and self-responsibility with verbal reinforcements such as, the world doesn’t owe you anything; always look both ways before crossing the street; after you fall of the horse you have to get back on it; and you if you wanted something, you work hard for it, you earn it, and it was yours. One’s word was his bond and his character was to be of the highest exhibition.

Today dependency is the new norm. And in order to be dependent you can not be masculine or overtly manly. If one were to just glance at the U.S Constitution’s first Ten Amendments he would see independence, self-reliance, and masculinity throughout it. It refers to nothing of equality of one citizen coming at he expense of another. Even Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas stated, “Government cannot make us equal; it can only recognize, respect, and protect us as equal before the law.” The Constitution clearly reads of self-governance for the individual and that the government is to only intervene to protect the rights for the individual – not group. The Framers of this most magnificent document intended for the population to be vigilant, strong, and assertive to oppose and defeat any move by the government to overstep its bounds in safe-guarding their liberties. But, with a more feminine-dominant culture we have become more passive and less assertive in tightening the reigns of the government. But in addition to surrendering the reigns of the government, so too have we as a society surrendered the reigns of our own conduct.

With the explosion of feminine dominated households so too grows feminine dominated governance and policies that are less restrictive on personal and social conduct, more likely to favor external governance rather self-governance, and more welling to surrender safety for promised peace and security. The salvation of this nation’s posterity depends on the people recognizing this crisis and to realize that there is a place for femininity and masculinity to co-exist in their proper order in this nation with masculinity as the dominant identity to defend and protect us all from the what threatens us both domestically and from abroad.

The Sexual-Orientation & Illegal-Immigration Movement Are the Greatest Moral Issues in America in Generations: They will forever define this nation’s moral identity.

Here we go again. We are purposely being distracted from real issues that can actually bring this nation out of the worst economic downturn since the ’29 Depression to expend energies on an issue that wasn’t on anyone’s map before the Media and the Administration put it there. Kinda like the healthcare “crisis” that made it crucial for the government to ram Obama-care down our throats; or the financial “crisis” that made it crucial that the government pass the Dodd-Frank financial over haul with scant public exposure.

Now Mexico being located to the south of us and like-gender individual’s relationships have now been thrust up the sleeping American people for yet another “crisis” that the United States government has to solve. But unlike Obama-care and Dodd-Frank that will have negative economic reverberations for generations to come, the issues regarding the illegal-immigration, of Mexicans in particularly, and same-sex marriage is a seismic social earthquake of mega-tone proportions that will forever change the nation’s moral landscape.

The government directly creating a crisis and or creating the environment for a crisis for it to inevitably offer the solution to move the American people into a direction that benefits its longing for power and control is nothing new. A very good argument can be made that the move of many Black Americans from free man to slave was for the political benefit of the government, specifically the Democrat Party, in concert with big business and the Church. The solution of the government was then to prescribe a new political status and classification, Civil Rights and the U.S Citizen. And we all know how unified we are due to that. Don’t we?

Maybe its only fitting that we as a nation find ourselves again struggling with the government attempting to provide another solution dealing with governmental status and classification, whether someone is to be identified as being legally illegible to receive government privileges and how much the government can benefit from such illegibility. Don’t fool yourself folks the government increasing its tax base and expanding its power and control over its Citizens is what this is really all about. .

Several liberal Media pundits have already spilled the beans about how the government would financially benefit by reclassifying marriage to include same-sex persons. What many of us may not be aware of is the fact that gays and lesbians generally earn more money than Hetero-Sexuals. Also, it has been reported that reforming the immigration system would actually cost the Social Security Administration Billions due to the fact as things stand now though millions of illegal-immigrants pay into Social Security, the Administration doesn’t have to pay out to them. Wonder why we don’t see millions of illegal-immigrants demanding to be U.S Citizens or millions of gays and lesbians demanding to be regulated by the government like their hetero-sexual counterparts marching across the nation? Its simply because this is a government initiated cause. And when the people most of the several states have voted they have fervently voted against illegal-immigration and the redefining of marriage to include same-sex persons.

There are two facts that are indisputable regarding these two issues legally according to the government’s own law, and they are in Black’s Law Dictionary 2ndEd. marriage is defined, as distinguished from the agreement to marry and from the act of becoming married, Is the civil status of one man and one woman united in law for life, for the discharge to each other and the community of the duties legally incumbent on those whose associationis founded on the distinction of sex.” And according to theFederal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii), “Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . .. fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.” If these are laws and precedents that have lasted for as long as this nation has been in existence, and now all of the sudden the government itself is seeking to subjugate them, rather than have an open and honest discussion about them with us the people to possibly have the laws changed or amended, one has to ask, what is really going on? The government chooses to engage in dishonest, divisive, and manipulative propaganda. The government chooses to not reduce the red tape, onerous regulations, and massive bureaucracy that causes the horrific backlog that keeps so many wanting and qualified immigrants from LEGALLY coming to and staying in America, and not to rightly enforce its current immigration laws. And it chooses to not simply leave marriage defined as what it has always been in this country and dating as far back as Ancient Rome – a union between a man and a woman to promote procreation and a stable society – and create another political status, Civil Union, with its own governance and qualifications. It chooses to seek to have intellectually vacant arguments and attempts to redefine terms and words such as, what is is. What is a man? What is legal? And what is marriage? Despite the government’s propaganda, this issue is not about “equality”, but political status and classification for both the financial and political benefit of the government. As Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas truthfully stated, “Government cannot make us equal; it can only recognize, respect, and protect us as equal before the law.”

It is interesting that the one political party that has been the instigator in America’s most divisive social movements has been the Democratic Party. And like in the past, a combination of politics, big business, and the church, are instigative parties in these movements.  I’m not saying. I’m just saying.

The great hazard of frivolously and loosely choosing to redefining words and customs that have stood for generations and centuries with little regard of the consequences to the society as a whole is to question is anything sacred? Are there any longer any absolutes? Can we any longer definitively claim what is acceptable and not acceptable? How do we stand up and say no if no is no longer clearly definable? How can we then say this is right and this is wrong or that this is good and this bad? And is is is?

Alexis de Tocqueville once prophetically stated, “America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good it will cease to be great.” This is what this battle is about. America’s moral soul. And how our next generations will view issues of morality. In truth, there is little light between what effects social issues and what effects economic issues. They are both of the same stick. It is only our fundamentally sound moral compass that keeps us from one day awakening to a nation engulfed in flames. It is ultimately up to us to chose.

I Don’t Know Of What U.S Constitution and America Obama Was Referring To In His Inaugural Address; Not That Anyone Really Cares. He Does Sound Good Don’t He?.

Mr. Obama started in his inaugural speech by praising the strength of our nation’s Constitution. But, then he goes off on a tangent referring to things that have nothing to do with either our nation’s founding principles or founding documents; in particular the Declaration of Independence.

First, let’s give Mr. O credit for finally admitting that we Americans are exceptional.  But, we were NEVER promised a democracy.  If so then the word democracy would be found somewhere in the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence.  It is not!  But Article 3, Section 4 does guarantee us a “republican form of government.”   When he speaks of the patriots not fighting to replace tyranny of kings with the privileges of a few or mob rule, he sounds confused.  Because during the times of kings they were the government, and by definition mob rule is a democracy.  Of which he has shown by his actions that he wants nothing more than to greatly expand both infinitely.

When he says that, “we the people understand that our country cannot succeed when a shrinking few do very well and a growing many barely make it.”  Was he referring to Communist China, the Soviet Union, North Korea, or some other such nation that he holds in suppressed honor and regard?  Because my recollection is that this nation has been the economic marvel that all others have driven to attempt to imitate and still today many of other nation’s citizens cross blistering deserts and shark-infested waters to be included in – illegally and legally.  And it has been the free-spirited individual’s ability to dream and work hard to achieve beyond his wildest dreams to become successful and wealthy.  History does tell us that it is when government expands and eats up more money in the economy, the soup lines expands amongst the people.  It is only most recently, in the past four years, that there are more Americans on welfare, on food stamps, and chronically unemployed and sitting idle, thus not being able to make it.  But, lets not let that get in the way of his story. An argument can be made that we are in the mist of a ’29 depression without the Media plastering pictures and news of it.

The main thing that I found fundamentally glaringly flawed from Mr. O’s speech is that though the Declaration does state that we are all CREATED equal, it doesn’t mean that we are all created to remain so.  And if that is the case, it is not the job of the government to then attempt to make us so.   As Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have said that, “…America was founded on a philosophy of individual rights, not group rights.” and that, “Government cannot make us equal; it can only recognize, respect, and protect us as equal before the law.”

All throughout the speech it was all about what government should do.  Nothing was stated about the true meaning of the Declaration of Independence, individualism.  Much unlike JFK’s inaugural speech when he said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country”, or Ron Reagan’s when he said, Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem…. We’ve been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of government himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable, with no one group singled out to pay a higher price.”  Or even Jefferson’s speech at our nation’s infancy said, “Let us then, fellow citizens, unite with one heart and one mind, let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty, and even life itself, are but dreary things,” … “Every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle. … We are all Republicans. We are all Federalists.”

Our nation, even with its issues, corrections, and readjustments, as every other nation has had to some degree, has two things that separates us from all others and enables us to be truly exceptional; they are our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.  What those two documents so fervently proclaim is that it is the individual’s freedom to his life, his liberty, and thus the pursuit of his happiness – not necessarily the possession of it – that is paramount; not that of the collective.  For it is bestowed to him by the Creator.  And for that to be accomplished government must be small and most unintrusive.  It is the President who should wholesomely reflect, recite, and resemble these principles, and not attempt to us remake them in his own vision, image, or ideology that are intellectually repugnant to their very principles.  For it is those founding documents that can truly unite us and strengthen us if they are truthfully  implemented, applied, and understood as they were intended.  For it is those documents that make us Americans.
