To me, we as a nation have long crossed the preverbal Rubicon to answer the question of whether Americans want to be truly free. The answer is, for the most part, a definitive no. The American Experiment has born out what I’m sure many of the Founders intuitively knew, but were praying that they were wrong.
The America that many of us remember is not only fading over the distant horizon in our rearview mirror, it is falling off the proverbial cliff. Today, speaking fervently for the Constitution and the Founders can get you labeled as an anti-government extremist and or a racist, quick.
I can tell you that the nation that I was born in, grew up in, and what I envisioned it would be, is unrecognizable from the one that I am currently domicile. It is said that history is written by the victors. But it can be added that history is written by those with an extraordinary will to rewrite one’s history and the have balls to do it in plain sight while making everyone believe that it is not being rewritten – most everyone.
I grew up with a sense that America was the greatest place to be and that Americans came together, no matter what, over sports, the flag/ the defense of country, and above all the respect for and reverence of God. In today’s America, there is nothing so sure. I can only best describe the contrast between the America of then and now is STUNNING!
The mere fact that we are even having this question brought up today and that so many laws have been enacted in the notion that our nation was not intended to be Christian-based for the very sake of our national prosperity is evidence of the success of the enemies of this nation have had in depriving us of the knowledge and history of our nation. Too many of us do not know our history. So we are truly like a leaf so detached that we do not know that we come from a tree. All that one has to do is take a glancing look at the chaos and destruction that is occurring in our streets and the cratering moral and academic levels you will quickly see that it is not the good side that is winning. We are a Christian nation. It is what birth us, gave us life, and fed us. For the sake of our nation’s posterity, we have to reclaim our rightful heritage and reverence for our nation’s magnificent past and act accordingly.
